Entrance to The Beading Frenzy.

When you first enter the store, you'll
see our huge selection of Japanese seed beads (Delicas,
15°s, 11°s, 8°s, 6°s, triangles, 2-cuts,
and hexs) arranged by color along the far wall. Above the
seed beads, also arranged by color, are strands of
Czech and German glass.
Kiosk 3 contains all the supplies
you'll need for your wireworking projects (wire, jumprings,
and so on), plus Soflex and other wire-based stringing materials.
Kiosk 4 contains tools (pliers, cutters, mandrels, jigs, magnifiers,
hammers, scissors, files, steel brushes, anvils, ... you name it).

If you walk no further and turn to the left
you'll see our lampwork bead cabinets, which contain a large
selection of artist's lampwork beads, as well as the larger
and more elaborate Venetian beads. (This picture shows only
the top of the artist's lampwork cabinet.)

Here is a biased selection (that is, a
selection of some of my particular favorites) of
our Venetian lampwork.

We also sell a large variety of exquisite
metal beads and findings. Shown in this picture from left
to right are representatives of our selection of vermeil,
copper/sterling, and Thai silver beads.

This is a view from the far corner of the store,
next to the seed beads. The line of four tables starting at the
bottom of the view holds our collection of loose glass beads
arranged by color.
In addition to quality contemporary beads, we
have a large selection of vintage and "new vintage" (new pressings
using old glass and old molds) glass beads.

A close-up of a few of our vintage West German and
Czech glass beads. The large orange and white West German heart
pendant is distinguished, among other features, by the vivid
opaque burnt orange color of the glass. Orange lovers take note that
you'll never see this color in a contemporary bead. Although many of
our vintage beads were so-called production line beads, the amount of
hand finishing (grinding, final faceting, and so on) that went into
many of these beads is astonishing.

This is a view of the store from our classroom area.
Kiosk 1 (number not visible) contains our selection of Magatamas and
other fringe and embellishment beads. This kiosk also contains packaged
findings
Kiosk 2 contains our extensive selection of supplies
for bead stringing and bead weaving. In addition to the "workhorse"
threads (Nymo, Silamide, silk, Conso, Fireline, PowerPro, and so on),
we also carry decorative fibers in many colors and textures.
The two pyramidal displays in the center of the room
contain a high quality selection of charms and findings cast in
non-precious metals. You'll be surprised by the quality (both in
design and execution) of these castings.
Along the far wall you'll find a large selection of
pearl and semi-precious strands to fit all budgets.

A closer view of our semi-precious. The top
row contains pearls in all the colors of the rainbow.

More semi-precious.

And yet more semi-precious. I'm particularly
smitten with the Almandine garnet.

Next to the front desk, you'll find our truly
comprehensive selection of Swarovski, maker of the highest
quality crystal beads produced anywhere in the world. The
pyramidal display contains our loose Swarovski arranged by
size and shape. Along the back wall (in the upper left hand
corner of the photo) is our selection of packaged Swarovski,
including many of the exciting new line of Swarovski findings.
Our collection includes all the new colors,
cuts, and finishes, as well many vintage and out-of-program
offerings as well.

If you'd like to do your designing in the store
(with or without the assistance of our knowledgeable staff), you
are welcome to use our work area.

For those wanting in-depth instruction, we
offer a large variety of classes for beaders and jewelry designers
with all levels of experience. All class samples are available
for viewing in the store.

We also host many special events and Trunk
Shows.
This photo shows Dale Levy behind one of her
many tables of handmade Venetian beads. In addition to having
a lovely smile, Dale is professional designer who lives in Italy.
Her company, Lady from Venice, is a direct importer of Venetian
beads and accessories, many of which you
can find nowhere else. Dale's visit, which included a workshop
on design, was such a resounding success (and such fun for everyone
who attended) that we intend to have her visit every year.
