"Fun, whimsical, and colorful are just a few words that people have used to describe my work. I began fusing glass as a hobbyist over 6 years ago. I started with a microwave kiln and then I was hooked. Prior to my inspiration in glass art, I studied in fashion design for three years and metal smithing. Through these experiences I gained a buoyant sense of color and vast array of designs. Fused Glass is a process that takes a few hours or a few days depending on the size of the pieces. Glass is fused by placing various pieces of compatible glass inside a kiln heated to 1350-1500°. At this temperature the glass will bend, melt, tack, and boil. Many items are produced using this technique such as jewelry, dishes, beads, plates, clocks, watches, picture frames, and so on."

"I enjoy making functional art pieces for people to express their individuality for themselves or for their home. You can find my work in Pescadero, CA at Eucalyptus, in Half Moon Bay, CA at Personal Fx, and in Colorado Springs at Textures Gallery. I'm a member of the Glass Art Society (G.A.S.), the Association of Clay and Glass Artist of California (ACGA), the Northern California Bead Society, and the Pacifica ART Guild. I continually attend courses in California, Oregon, and Las Vegas with some of the pioneers in glass fusing."
